The sixth set of a range of Ukrainian soldiers in 1:35 scale: two resin figures on a theme of the years 2014 to 2017 and a sheet of decals.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set belongs to a range devoted to Ukrainian soldiers from the period of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, that is from the years 2014 to 2017. The kit gradually became more uniform over these years, yet it stayed varied: plate carriers, tactical accessories and helmets of various origins appeared side by side. A pair of figures makes it possible to build a small scene in which the figures react to each other, instead of a model being complemented by one lone figure.
The package contains two figures cast in resin in 1:35 scale and a sheet of decals. The figures are supplied unpainted and with casting blocks, which are removed before building.
Before painting, the resin castings are washed in lukewarm water with detergent, so that no mold release agent is left on the surface. The casting blocks are cut away with a fine saw and the areas left by them are leveled with a file; sanding is best done wet and with a respirator. The joints are held by super glue, as cement for plastic does not work on resin. The enclosed decals are applied onto a smooth gloss base; on small patches a decal softener helps, and a matte varnish once dry. Decals belong onto finished paint, not under it.
The set is suitable for dioramas with modern equipment and for models of armored vehicles in 1:35 scale, where a pair of figures keeps a scene in motion. The package contains two figures and decals. The model of the vehicle, paints, glue and a base are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
