Pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the cabin glazing of the Ka-52 attack helicopter in 1:72 scale, completed with masks for marking out the detonation cord. They correspond in shape to the Zvezda kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Kamov Ka-52 is a Russian attack helicopter with a pair of coaxial main rotors and a crew sitting side by side. The cabin is wide and its glazing is divided by solid frames into several large areas. A detonation cord moreover runs across the glazing; it belongs to the system for emergency escape from the machine and appears on a model as a thin line.
The set consists of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the glazing of the cabin and separate masks for marking out the detonation cord. The cuts correspond to the shape of the parts of the Zvezda kit in 1:72 scale.
First wash the clear parts and let them dry, as grease holds a mask only until the first touch. Lay the masks on with tweezers, dry, and press them down around their whole perimeter. Settle the narrow parts for the detonation cord according to the instructions so that the line runs smoothly along the whole length of the panel, and check them against the light. Spray in thin coats and take the masks off as soon as the paint is dry to the touch.
The set suits a modeler who builds the Ka-52 in 1:72 scale and wants the frames of the cabin sharp and the line of the detonation cord straight. The package contains only masks; the model, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
