An injection-molded plastic kit of the road motorcycle Honda CB1000F in 1:12 scale from Tamiya's motorcycle series. The model faithfully captures the flowing lines of the naked roadster; major assemblies such as the engine, suspension, exhaust, and stand attach to the frame with screws.
The Honda CB1000F is a modern road roadster that carries on the iconic Flowing Line design language of the CB750F and CB900F models. It features an exposed, liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine and tuned chassis components; the Best Balance Roadster concept aims at versatile use, from everyday riding to touring.
The exposed engine is the visual centerpiece — it is worth shading it with metallic finishes and highlighting details such as the cooling hoses with their mesh texture. Spray the tank and fenders with an airbrush and seal with a gloss clear coat. The included pre-cut masks make it easy to paint the brake discs. The model also uses screw joints; glue the plastic parts with thin liquid cement.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
