Injection-molded plastic kit of the Citroën DS3 WRC rally car in its 2013 season form, in 1:24 scale from the French maker Heller. The box contains plastic parts, rubber tires, a decal sheet and instructions for the build and the painting. The model captures a competition car of the World Rally Championship and is meant to be glued and painted.
The Citroën DS3 WRC replaced the C4 WRC for the World Rally Championship season and made its debut on the Monte Carlo Rally. Compared with its predecessor it received a smaller turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a mandatory intake restrictor, it was shorter and lighter and it stood out for better agility. In its era the car was among the most successful in the WRC and took a string of victories in the hands of the Citroën works drivers. The 2013 form corresponds to the later stage of the car's championship career.
The body is best painted with an airbrush after a primer has been applied. The colorful rally livery is made up mostly of sponsor decals - they settle best on a gloss clear coat, and a decal softener will help them sink into the detail. Glue the glazing and the headlights with glue for clear parts. Pick the interior with its roll cage and competition seats out in different shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
