A metal detail set of German aircraft MG 131 machine gun barrels (2 pcs) in 1:24 scale from Master (Poland). Turned barrels with a drilled cooling jacket to replace the plastic ones; it is not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail accessory in turned metal, not an aircraft model. The set holds two turned barrels for the German 13 mm MG 131 aircraft machine gun with a realistically drilled cooling jacket. This weapon appeared on a whole range of German fighters and bombers in the Second World War, among them the Bf 109, the Fw 190, the Me 410 and the Ju 88. Turned metal offers a sharper and more accurate shape than injection-molded plastic can reach. It is made by the Polish maker Master, a specialist in turned metal barrels.
Apply a primer to the metal, and only then the paint. Bring out the cooling jacket with a dark wash, which will pull out the drilled holes; add fine drybrushing on the edges. Leave the muzzle dark like metal.
For modelers who build German aircraft of the Second World War in the large 1:24 scale and want realistic armament instead of plastic barrels. Experience with small metal parts is assumed.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
