The Toyota Celica TA64 - Ivory Coast Rally 1983 / 1985 / 1986 decal set in 1:24 scale from Tabu design. Markings for a Group B car in African events.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds printed waterslide decals in 1:24 scale for the Toyota Celica TA64 in the versions entered in the African Ivory Coast Rally in 1983, 1985 and 1986. It is a supplementary set of markings that the modeler transfers onto a finished painted model, not a kit. Take the exact contents and the number of schemes from the illustration on the packaging.
The Toyota Celica Twin-Cam Turbo TA64 was a rear-wheel-drive Group B car powered by a turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder engine with around 380 horsepower. Despite its rear-wheel drive, at a time when most of its rivals were already running all-wheel drive, it dominated the demanding African Safari and Ivory Coast events so thoroughly that it earned the nickname King of Africa. Between 1984 and 1986 it collected a run of wins in both African rallies.
For modelers building collectible replicas of Group B cars and for fans of the African era of rallying.
This is a decal set, not a model. The kit, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
