Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in 1:24 scale from the Czech maker Eduard, intended for the large-scale model of the British Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib fighter-bomber in the Car Door variant. The masks are die-cut from thin self-adhesive film and follow the glazing frames of this early cabin exactly, as well as the circumference of the wheels. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
The early Typhoon Mk.Ib version had the Car Door cabin, that is a framed canopy with side doors resembling those of a car, unlike the later sliding bubble canopy. This variant has different shapes and a different division of the glazing frames, which is why it calls for a mask set of its own. The Typhoon was a British fighter-bomber of the Second World War with excellent performance against ground targets.
Lift the masks off the backing with tweezers and stick them onto clean glazing and wheels. Press the edges down carefully and spray in thin coats, best of all with an airbrush. Kabuki film keeps its shape and, once the paint has dried, comes off easily without leaving any residue.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
