A resin kit for experienced modelers in 1:32 scale capturing the Czechoslovak Avia B-534 fighter biplane in its 4th version (series IV). The HpH Models set is multimedia: besides well-cast resin parts it contains extensive photo-etch, masks and decals. It is a demanding but exceptionally detailed model for advanced builders.
In the mid-1930s the Avia B-534 was among the best fighter biplanes of its day. It was powered by a Hispano-Suiza V12 engine and armed with machine guns. The 4th version (series IV) got an enclosed cockpit and further changes and became the most widespread variant. The machines served with the Czechoslovak Air Force and later with further users; to this day they are among the most iconic aircraft of the Czechoslovak prewar design school.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and sand resin with respiratory protection, because resin dust is harmful to health. Apply a primer before painting, and spray the fine photo-etch and the interior with an airbrush before the fuselage is closed. The extensive rigging of a biplane calls for patience and experience.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
