A scenic resin accessory for aviation dioramas and bases. The set contains British wheel chocks for under the wheels and an access ladder for the airplane. It is not a model but a pair of props that give a scene with a British airplane believability and a sense of scale.
Wheel chocks kept parked aircraft from moving, and the ladder served pilots and ground crew for access to the cockpit and for maintenance. Both belong to the typical equipment of British airfields of the period and raise the authenticity of a diorama.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. They are bonded with super glue, and on a scene you anchor them directly to the base. Use natural shades of wood and metal, and add weathering and traces of use for a faithful, well-used look.
The set is a scenic accessory. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
