Tamiya XF-70 Dark Green 2 is a matte acrylic modeling paint of 10 ml — a dark green that the manufacturer gives for Japanese naval aircraft of the close of the Second World War. It is a paint, not a kit.

A dark green modeling paint from Tamiya's Acrylic MINI line, a 10 ml bottle. The bottle holds the paint alone — it is not a kit. The line designation gives away the surface: X is gloss, XF matte. XF-70 therefore dries matte, which matches the field, unpolished finish of combat vehicles.
The paint can be applied with an airbrush and a brush; for spraying, thin it with the acrylic X-20A thinner (the X-20 thinner belongs to enamels, not here). With dark greens it pays to spray in thinner coats — a saturated color otherwise easily drowns fine panel lines. The number 2 in the name distinguishes this shade from the other dark greens in the maker's palette — it is a separate tone with its own subject, not a packaging variant, so do not confuse it with other dark greens.
