A detailed resin and 3D printed set from the Ukrainian brand Reskit, intended to improve a kit of the carrier-borne attack aircraft Douglas A-4E Skyhawk in 1:32 scale (it fits the kit from Trumpeter). The set replaces the exhaust nozzle of the engine with a faithful part with a fine structure inside and out. It is not an aircraft model but an add-on detail accessory.
The simplified nozzle from the plastic kit is replaced by a precisely shaped 3D printed part with a realistic lip and interior. Details that are hard to reproduce in injection-molded plastic therefore show to advantage when the finished model is viewed from behind.
Separate the parts carefully from the support blocks, wash the print resin residue off them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; bring the metallic shades of the nozzle to life with shading and a fine wash. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package. It is not a complete aircraft model but an accessory for another kit.
