Painting stencils for a model of the Eurofighter Typhoon in 1:32 scale, cut for the Trumpeter kit with the kit number 02278.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multirole combat aircraft with a delta wing and a canard foreplane ahead of the cockpit. It came about from a joint program of several European states and serves in their air arms to this day. In the large 1:32 scale the model comes out big and every frayed edge of a coat shows on it at first glance.
The set brings cut masking stencils made for the kit from Trumpeter, which the name specifies by the kit number 02278. Ready-made shapes save laborious cutting of masks out of tape and the edge comes out the same on the left and right sides of the model. Which surfaces the set covers and in what order the stencils are fitted is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Always fit the stencil before spraying and press the edge down along its whole length, so that the paint cannot get underneath. Spray in two passes and thinly, because a heavy layer will bleed under the edge sooner than a thin one. Take them off with tweezers as soon as the paint is dry to the touch: once it has fully cured the edge is hard and the coat may tear away. On the cockpit glazing leave the masks in place until the model is fully varnished.
The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
