An armament set for a model of the F-16CJ in 1:32 scale, prepared for the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-16 is a single-seat multirole aircraft that has seen dozens of modifications during its service. The CJ designation is used for machines in United States Air Force service whose usual underwing load differs from the base version. It is exactly the external stores that make a model recognizable at first glance, because they change the aircraft's silhouette more than anything else. In the large 1:32 scale the shape of the pylons and what they carry is visible too, so adding the armament is worth it on a finished model.
The set completes a kit with armament and underwing equipment in 1:32 scale. What exactly the package holds is given in the manufacturer's instructions; go by them too when choosing which pylons to use and in what combination, because the real loads differed by task and by period. The set is prepared for a Hasegawa kit; on other models count on having to adjust the seating surfaces.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent before building and let them dry, so that paint and glue hold. Cut the excess material and the marks left by manufacture away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder back carefully. Choose the glue to suit the material of the parts; super glue is more versatile than cement intended for polystyrene. Paint and mark the external stores separately before you hang them: once they are under the wing a brush no longer reaches them well and they break off easily during handling.
The package holds the parts of the set. The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not supplied, unless stated otherwise.
