This panel from the Polish manufacturer Yahu Models is a finished, factory color-printed instrument panel assembled from laminated photo-etched parts. The dials carry a fine color print and an overprinted gloss varnish that imitates the glass of the faces, so the result looks three-dimensional and realistic. This is not a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory for the cockpit: the panel replaces the basic part of the kit and needs neither painting nor decals.
The Avro Lancaster is a British four-engined heavy night bomber, one of the icons of the Royal Air Force in the Second World War. It became famous for demanding raids over occupied Europe and for its large bomb load. The pilot's extensive workplace with its richly laid-out instrument panel is a prominent visible area in 1:32 scale.
The panel is glued in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) in place of the original plastic part. We recommend degreasing the surface first and working carefully with tweezers, so that the color layer does not get scratched. The panel is intended for models of the Avro Lancaster in 1:32 scale.
This is an accessory for the cockpit, not a complete kit. Glue and the base model are not included in the package.
