Strengthened main landing gear legs for a model of the P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale, according to the name for the Revell kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A model in 1:32 scale is large and its weight is carried by two thin main landing gear legs. Under that load the parts from the kit bend in time or work loose at the joint, especially when the model is carried and moved around in a display case. Strengthened replacement legs solve this problem: they are of a sturdier design and will keep the model level even after years.
The P-51D Mustang is an American fighter of the Second World War, easily recognized by its teardrop canopy. That is exactly why it is among the most frequently built types in the large scales, and it is worth building it so that it keeps its stance on a stand.
Strengthened main landing gear legs in 1:32 scale, according to the name for the Revell kit. The exact number of parts and the material are given on the packaging. Wheels, gear bay covers and the other parts of the landing gear need not be included, so allow for that when planning the build and compare the name of the set with what you really need to replace in your kit.
Fit the legs dry and check both angles: the forward rake as well as the track, so that the model stands level once it settles and both wheels touch down with their full contact area. Cut the excess material and the production marks away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder off, then wash and degrease the parts. Paint them before you seat them in the gear bays, where a brush will not reach later.
The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
