The figure represents a pilot of the American P-47 Thunderbolt fighter of the Second World War in typical flying gear. It is a fitting addition to a model of the aircraft or to an airfield scene and gives it a human dimension and scale.
First wash the figure clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and lightly sand the surfaces. Glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime it before painting; for a realistic look, shading the folds of the clothing and careful face painting with highlights and shadows work well.
