Reskit 1:32 R-60 (AA-8 Aphid) missiles, 4 pieces is a 3D printed resin set of four Soviet infrared guided air-to-air missiles from the Ukrainian maker Reskit. They serve as carried ordnance for combat aircraft models.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains four 3D printed resin replicas of the Soviet short-range R-60 air-to-air guided missile (NATO reporting name AA-8 Aphid) in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but carried ordnance that you hang under the wings or fuselage of a model. The parts stand out for their fine surface detail and the sharp edges of the fins.
The R-60 is a light Soviet short-range air-to-air guided missile with infrared guidance. Thanks to its low weight it became standard armament on a whole range of Soviet and Russian combat aircraft, among them machines of the MiG and Su families.
Wash the parts gently, separate them carefully from the supporting blocks with a sharp knife or a fine saw and bond them with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting; the individual color bands and the seeker heads come out well after airbrushing and fine emphasis.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted as an accessory. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included, unless stated otherwise.
