This set from the Czech maker CMK is a replacement accessory, not an aircraft kit. It holds resin strengthened main landing gear legs for a model of the Hawker Tempest fighter in 1:32 scale. The replacement offers stronger and more accurately made landing gear legs that carry the weight of a finished model better and capture the detail of the real machine more faithfully.
The Hawker Tempest was a British fighter from the end of the Second World War, used among other things against German V-1 missiles and for attacks on ground targets. The robust main landing gear carried a heavy aircraft with a powerful engine and a wide wheel track.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the metal surfaces of the legs in metal or landing gear shades, add a fine wash and, if you like, dust and mud effects. Sand resin with your airways protected.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
