Star Decals 1:35 D-Day DUKW — British amphibians No. 3: a decal sheet with the markings of the companies 101 Coy (GT) and 377 Coy (GT).
Responsibility details are not available.
The third part of the Star Decals decal series in 1:35 scale devoted to the DUKW amphibious truck in British service during the landing in Normandy. It brings the markings of the transport companies 101 Coy (GT) and 377 Coy (GT) of the British supply service and makes it possible to build further particular vehicles with period markings.
The DUKW was an American six-wheeled amphibious truck key to supply from ships directly onto the beaches. The British companies of the Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) operated it on a large scale during the invasion in 1944 while carrying material through the surf.
Apply the decals onto a smooth varnished surface and clear-coat with a matte varnish once dry. A softener will help the decals settle over the edges and rivets of the bed.
This is a decal sheet, not a model. The kit and the paints are not included in the package.
