Injection-molded plastic kit of the German launching frame (Schweres Wurfgerät) for heavy rockets of 28 cm and 32 cm caliber in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The set includes photo-etched parts and lets you build the rockets in two versions and the frame in either the firing or the transport position.
The German heavy rockets 28cm Wurfkörper Spreng (high-explosive) and 32cm Wurfkörper Flamm (incendiary) were fired from simple wooden and metal frames straight out of their crates. It was a cheap area weapon with a great destructive effect at short range, used by infantry and engineer units during the Second World War.
Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and the plastic with liquid modeling cement. The composition suits a diorama; a combination of the launching frame, the transport crates and the rockets is very effective. For weathering use washes and pigments with mud and dust effects, which underline the field character of the weapon.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
