The Italian mountain rifleman, Italy 1916 is a resin figure in 1:35 scale from Royal Model from the First World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure in 1:35 scale depicts an Italian mountain rifleman of the Alpini units in 1916 during the First World War. It is supplied as a resin casting to be assembled and painted, and in some releases with a base for a small vignette. It is a standalone historical figure, not a model of a vehicle.
The Alpini were elite Italian mountain units that fought in the demanding conditions of the Alpine front against the Austro-Hungarian army in the First World War. Their characteristic marks were a hat with a feather, mountain equipment and adapted armament. The figure captures a typical soldier of this front in 1916.
Wash the mold release off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and fill the joints. After a base coat, build up the colors of the uniform in shades of gray-green (grigio-verde) and finish the skin with glazes and oils. Render any base as a piece of Alpine terrain.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
