An injection-molded plastic kit of the British twin-engine Handley-Page Harrow Mk.II in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. Besides the plastic parts, the package usually also contains resin parts, photo-etched parts and a decal set for marking options. It is a short-run kit in which careful work pays off.
The Handley-Page Harrow was a British twin-engine high-wing monoplane of the second half of the 1930s, developed as a heavy bomber and later used extensively in the transport and liaison role with the RAF. It was distinguished by an angular fuselage and fixed landing gear, typical of the transitional period of British aviation before the arrival of all-metal bombers.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement and the small resin and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate; wash the resin to remove any mold release residue before building. Because of the short-run tooling, expect to work on the fit and possibly to fill the joints. A primer, an airbrush and a matte varnish over the decals are recommended.
