This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Meng captures the Israeli Merkava Mk.3 BAZ main battle tank fitted with the Nochri Dalet mine roller system. The package offers richly broken-up parts, one-piece flexible tracks and movable parts of the roller. The model is built as an unassembled kit.
The Merkava Mk.3 BAZ is one of the Israeli main battle tanks with its characteristic engine placed at the front, which raises the protection of the crew. The vehicle is powered by a capable engine and its armament is a smoothbore gun of 120 mm caliber. The Nochri Dalet mine roller serves to clear mines from the ground ahead of the tank.
Assemble and paint the running gear before closing the hull, and pay attention to the assembly of the movable mine roller. Use thin cement on the plastic, and an airbrush and primer for painting. The desert color scheme is brought to life by weathering from dust, washes and pigments.
