Vallejo Normandy Village 24x7 cm is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale - a feature of Normandy village buildings for building a scene. It is not a kit of a vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A diorama accessory of the Vallejo brand in 1:35 scale with the name of a Normandy village and a dimension of 24 x 7 cm. The plan is narrow and elongated, which corresponds to a feature that is placed in a scene along the edge of the base - as a street front, say, or a wall on the edge of a base. It is an accessory of the setting, not a model of hardware.
Normandy villages appear in modeling mainly in scenes from the summer of 1944, and their typical traits are rough stone masonry, low buildings and narrow lanes. That is precisely why such a feature goes well with hedges, field tracks and broken paving. Thanks to its small depth it takes up a minimum of room in a diorama and serves rather to frame the scene than as its dominant element - the main role can then be carried by a vehicle or a group of figures.
Masonry is painted best from a dark base toward the light: primer, then a middle gray applied with a brush and finally the emphasis of the individual stones with a lighter shade. Differing tones of neighboring stones give the surface life - do not paint the whole area with one shade. A thin wash belongs in the joints and runs there by itself. Apply green mossy patches only where the building is in shade or near the ground, and at the end dust it with pigments from the foot upward, so that a transition from earth to wall arises.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue, a base and further diorama material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
