A set of figures on the theme of Russian special forces in 1:35 scale. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted, they are made up of several parts and they are finished by hand. The number of figures, their poses and their kit are given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Clear the parts of surplus material and traces of manufacture, and fill and sand the seams after gluing; otherwise they would show up once the paint is on. Dry-fit the figure and check that it stands naturally and that its hands reach its kit. Painting usually starts from the base coat and the large areas of clothing, continues with the kit and the weapons and ends with the face and the small items. The folds of the cloth come out best when you underpaint them in a darker shade and lighten the raised areas instead. Apply the paint in thin coats and let each one dry thoroughly.
1:35 is the most widespread scale for military vehicles, so the figures suit armored as well as wheeled vehicles of the same scale and can be combined with diorama accessories. A figure beside a vehicle also shows at a glance how big the machine really is, and turns a displayed model into a scene.
The set suits modelers of present-day military vehicles and builders of dioramas, but also anyone who wants to try painting figures in a larger scale. Paints, thinner, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
