A new injection-molded plastic kit of the German light armored half-track Sd.Kfz.250 in the early angular Ausf. A version and in 1:35 scale. The 250/4 variant was intended for the anti-aircraft defense of units, and therefore carried light machine gun armament against low-flying targets. The model builds like a classic armor kit with a rendered hull interior and running gear. The manufacturer's instructions state the exact contents of the package.
The Sd.Kfz.250 was a German light armored half-track of the Second World War, used for reconnaissance, transport and as a carrier of special equipment. You can recognize the Ausf. A version by its angular, broken-up armor plates, which were demanding to produce; the later Ausf. B had them simplified. The 250/4 version served to protect troops against air attack from low altitude.
First finish and paint the hull interior and the running gear, and only then close the hull up. With an open hull the detail comes into its own. For weathering use washes into the recesses and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
