This set of 3D decals reproduces the tie-down straps used on vehicles to secure canvas covers and covered cargo. The straps are printed on a flexible film with a three-dimensional texture of the buckles and clasps and in full color, so once applied they look like real textile bands. The 1:35 scale matches the usual models of military and civilian vehicles.
Dip the sheet briefly in lukewarm water, slide the strap off the backing and lay it straight over the cover, the cargo bed or the frame. The flexible film shapes readily over edges and curved surfaces, so the band follows the shape of the base. It is a good idea to degrease the surface before application; the strap has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a gloss clear coat. Do not use a decal softener, as it attacks the printed resin.
This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
