A detail kit of road wheels for the Soviet T-55 and T-55A tanks in 1:35 scale from Miniart. Note that this is not a tank model but an accessory meant to replace or supplement the road wheels on a base kit. The set contains faithfully rendered wheels with fine surface detail.

Building tips

Separate the wheels carefully from the sprues and clean them up; glue them with liquid plastic cement. For a clean result it is best to paint the rubber tires and the metal discs separately and to finish the running gear at the end with a wash and dust pigments. Take care that the wheels line up correctly with the track when they are fitted to the running gear.

Who the set is for

The set is meant for modelers who want to raise the detail of the running gear on their T-55 or T-55A, or who need spare wheels for a conversion. A base kit of the matching tank is needed for the build.

This is an add-on set of parts, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
