A resin set of antennas for the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (a range of the Aires company): crisp replacements for the small antennas on the fuselage of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine resin antennas for a kit of the A-4 Skyhawk light attack aircraft in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (a production range of the Aires company). It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the coarser plastic antennas from a kit with crisply cast parts. The package contains several types of antenna placed on the fuselage and the spine of the aircraft; the castings are clean and easy to separate from the casting block.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American light carrier attack aircraft with a characteristic delta wing, nicknamed the Scooter. It served from the mid-1950s with the Navy and the Marine Corps of the United States, made its name in the Vietnam War and flew with a number of foreign air arms for decades afterward. The small antennas are among the typical features of its exterior.
First wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue and separate them carefully from the casting block; sand with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The antennas are thin and fragile, so glue and paint them if possible at the end of the build, when you no longer handle the model much. A primer coat helps before painting.
This is a resin accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
