Aber 1:48 76.2 mm PaK 36(r) barrel for the Marder III is a turned metal gun barrel for the German Marder III tank destroyer with its captured Soviet gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal replacement gun barrel in 1:48 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber for the German Marder III tank destroyer. The barrel of 76.2 mm caliber matches the PaK 36(r) gun - a captured Soviet piece rechambered by the Germans. The precisely machined metal part replaces the plastic barrel and guarantees alignment as well as a regular muzzle even in the small 1:48 scale.
The Marder III (Sd.Kfz. 139) was an improvised German tank destroyer that mounted captured Soviet 76.2 mm antitank guns rechambered for German ammunition (PaK 36(r)) on the chassis of the light Panzer 38(t) tank. The vehicles were built from 1942 as a quick answer to Soviet tanks and fought above all on the Eastern Front.
Clean the barrel, seat it in the gun mantlet and fix it with cyanoacrylate. In 1:48 scale this is a fine part, so handle it with care. Degrease the metal and apply primer before painting.
This is a replacement barrel, not a complete model. The basic kit is not included in the package.
