This is a 3D-printed resin figure set in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian maker Reskit. It holds three figures: the pilot of the modernized A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft climbing the access ladder, and members of the ground crew. The pilot's version matches the present-day equipment of A-10C crews.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II (nicknamed the Warthog) is a single-seat attack aircraft for close support of ground forces. The A-10C version is the modernized form with a digital cockpit and extended options for precision munitions, flown on present-day missions. Figures of the pilot and the crew give a scene scale and life.
First wash the print resin residue off the resin figures, cut off the print supports, and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring out the present-day flight equipment and the uniforms with shading for volume, work up the flesh tones, and light washes will add depth to the details.
This is a resin figure set for experienced modelers. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and an aircraft model are not included in the package.
