AIM-54A Phoenix missiles in 1:48 scale (Reskit) are a 3D-printed accessory with four missiles for the F-14 fighter. It is not an aircraft model but faithful armament for a detailed build.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds four 3D-printed AIM-54A Phoenix air-to-air missiles in 1:48 scale, intended for models of the F-14 Tomcat fighter. It is not an aircraft model but an accurate replacement for the armament, which improves the stores under a model compared with coarser plastic parts. Thanks to 3D printing the missiles have fine surface detail and sharp fin edges.
The AIM-54 Phoenix was an American long-range guided missile carried solely by the F-14 Tomcat carrier-based interceptor. The AIM-54A version was the first production variant. The heavy Phoenixes were among the iconic features of the Tomcat's load, and a faithful rendering of them raises the realism of a model considerably.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them carefully from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting to even the surface out. Protect your airways when sanding the prints.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
