The follow-up part of the decal set 1:48 BAC/EE Canberra B.2 Part 2 for models of the British jet bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A follow-up sheet by Xtradecal intended for models of the British Canberra jet bomber in its B.2 version. The set contains markings; you will not find a kit or paints in the package.
The Canberra first flew in 1949 as the first British jet bomber. The B.2 version was the first series-produced bomber form, with a crew of three and a glazed nose. The aircraft had an exceptionally large wing, thanks to which it reached altitudes unusual for the time, and in the 1950s it was among the best performing aircraft in its class. It served with many foreign users and, in modified forms, stayed in active service for several decades. For the modeler it is interesting for its slender shapes and expansive surfaces, on which markings show well. Models of this type also take both the early bare metal finish and the later camouflage schemes, so a single machine can cover several periods.
For builders of postwar British aircraft and for everyone who likes large bomber models with clean lines.
