This set is an accessory, not a separate model. It holds resin replacement wheels with a fine relief of the tread and the hubs for models of the British strike aircraft Buccaneer S2 in 1:48 scale. They replace the simplified wheels from the box with a more faithful rendering.
The Blackburn Buccaneer S2 is a British two-seat carrier-based and land-based strike aircraft meant for attacks from low altitude. Its sturdy landing gear, suited to operation from ships as well as airfields, is among its characteristic features, so faithful wheels raise the credibility of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels, cut the casting block off the contact patch of the tire and sand it with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate. Paint the tires in a matte dark gray and set the hubs apart with an opaque or metallic shade.
The set is an accessory and is supplied unpainted and unassembled. The paints, the glue and the basic model are not included in the package.
