The cool skin and dark blood of alien beings from a tabletop game in eight shades: ivory, a corpse tone, magenta and a black-red. The bottles hold 17 ml.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set belongs to one of the alien races which in the story of its tabletop game appear as the attacking side. Their look is built on contrast: smooth, almost colorless skin with a cast toward gray against deep magenta and bloody areas that stand out on chitinous shells and on inner tissue. A painter is therefore not working with a uniform but with an organic surface, where the color changes gradually and without sharp edges.
Both of those are covered by eight bottles, each holding seventeen milliliters of paint. The make-up stands on a pair of pale tones and a pair of dark reds.
It is laid on with a brush, and the acrylic binder is thinned with water. On an organic surface it pays to work with very thin applications, because every transition shows. The proven sequence is simple: first the whole surface in the lightest base, then a thinned dark tone into the recesses, and finally a spot of life with the deep red in the places light would fall on. A dry brush is not recommended on smooth skin, because it creates a grainy texture that does not belong there. The package holds paints only, no figures.
