This is an add-on set of landing gear wheels, not an aircraft model. The set from Reskit contains resin, or possibly 3D-printed, early type wheels for the European Eurofighter Typhoon fighter in 1:48 scale. The wheels replace the plastic parts of the kit and bring a crisper tread and rim detail.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European fourth-generation multirole fighter with a delta wing and a canard foreplane. It came about through the co-operation of several European countries and serves in a number of air forces as a front-line fighter and multirole aircraft. The early machines differed slightly in the design of the wheels.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks, then bond with super glue. Protect your airways while sanding. Paint the tire in a flat dark gray, set the rim apart with a lighter shade and add light weathering from the runway.
An add-on set. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
