A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK completes the interior of a model of the German Henschel Hs 129B ground-attack aircraft. It adds finely cast equipment for the cramped cockpit: the instrument panel, the seat, the levers and the side panels, which injection-molded plastic only suggests. This is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for the Hs 129B kit in 1:48 scale.
The Henschel Hs 129 was a single-seat twin-engined ground-attack aircraft of the Luftwaffe, heavily armored and specialized in destroying ground targets and tanks on the eastern front and in north Africa. The cockpit was extremely tight and armored, so some of the instruments had to be moved to the inner side of the engine nacelles. The B version carried heavy anti-tank cannon too, depending on the fit.
Paint and assemble the interior before closing up the fuselage. Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them away from the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring the instruments out with a dark wash and a dry brush. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is an accessory for that model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
