This is an aftermarket accessory, not an airplane model. The pre-colored multi-layer photo-etched instrument panel is painted from the factory and ready to be fitted straight away — it replaces the plastic part from your kit and faithfully renders the instruments, their dials and their labels. The laborious painting and dry transferring of the dials are both done away with. The set is intended for models of the Junkers Ju 87B-1 dive bomber in 1:48 scale.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German two-seat dive bomber with a characteristic inverted gull wing and fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings. The B-1 version made its mark in the opening campaigns of the Second World War; the aircraft became a symbol of dive-bombing tactics, among other things thanks to the sirens that accompanied its attack from altitude.
Check whether the shape of the panel matches your particular kit — the dimensions may differ slightly between kits from various makers and sometimes the edges have to be sanded gently. Clean up the original plastic panel, bond the part with a tiny amount of super glue and apply clear varnish carefully.
