1:48 Mil Mi-4A TFace is a masking set from the Eduard brand that covers the glazing of the Mil Mi-4A helicopter in 1:48 scale from the outside and from the inside.

This item is not a kit but a set of painting masks. The TFace designation at Eduard means that the set contains masks not only for the outer side of the glazing but for its inner side as well. The basic variant without that designation covers only the outside and exists as a separate item.
On a helicopter it shows far more than on an aircraft. The cabin of the Mi-4 is extensively glazed and, seen from above or at an angle from outside, the frames are visible from the inside as well. When only the outside is painted, the inner side of the frame stays in the color of the clear part and it looks like a translucent stripe. Double-sided masking removes that problem and at the same time prevents paint from getting inside the cabin while the interior shade is being sprayed.
First wash and degrease the glazing. The inner masks are applied first, before the clear part is seated in the fuselage, because after that you will no longer get inside. Press the mask down with a toothpick all around the edge, otherwise the paint will creep underneath. Spray thinly and in several coats and take the mask off while the paint is still fresh. While it dries, do not leave the model in dust; it is hard to clean around a mask.
