LööKplus is not a kit but a combined set of accessories for one model. It starts from the LööK set, whose core is a finished, pre-painted instrument panel, and adds further resin parts to it, which raise the detail of a model in the places where injection-molded plastic is simplified. The advantage is that instead of assembling small photo-etched layers you get a part essentially ready to fit.
The Mitsubishi A6M2 was a Japanese single-engine carrier-based fighter with a radial engine, built with an emphasis on low weight and long range. The A6M2 version belongs to the early forms of the family and differs from the later ones among other things in the shape of the wing tips and in details of the fit. For a modeler that means that accessories for the Zero are not freely interchangeable between versions and the particular form has to be watched.
Wash the resin parts first in lukewarm water with detergent, otherwise paint will not hold on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, do not break them, and sand wet with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; ordinary cement for plastic does not work here. Do not overspray the pre-painted parts; once fitted it is enough to seal them with a thin layer of matte varnish and to bring out the edges. Always try dry first whether the part seats in the fuselage; with resin a little material often has to be taken off the plastic walls of the cockpit. Finish the interior before you close the fuselage up.
