A detailed resin set of replacement wheels for North American RA-5C Vigilante models in 1:48 scale. It is a landing gear accessory, not an aircraft kit. The wheels are weighted with a realistic bulge of the tire. The manufacturer is the Ukrainian brand Reskit.
The RA-5C Vigilante was a high-performance supersonic carrier-based reconnaissance aircraft of the US Navy. Because of its great takeoff weight it was fitted with sturdy landing gear, whose wheels and tires are among the prominent features of a model.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime the wheels before painting and set the contact face perpendicular to the ground.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled; paints and glue are not included in the package.
