Reskit 1:48 exhausts for the OV-10D Bronco are a resin replacement for the exhaust areas of the engine nacelles — an accessory for a kit, not a model of the aircraft.

This is a resin add-on set in 1:48 scale intended for a model of the OV-10D observation and light attack aircraft. It is not a kit of an airplane but a replacement for the exhaust areas, which in plastic tend to be simplified in shape and full of mold seams. The real subject came from the maker North American Rockwell, and the D version is the later, rebuilt variant of the Bronco with a revised nose and more powerful turboprop engines.
On twin-engine turboprop machines the exhausts are among the most conspicuous details when seen close up — they are visible from the side and from above, and the area around the outlet tends to be heavily sooted. Injection-molded plastic runs into its limits here: the outlet is usually blind or too thick, and the seam from the mold parting runs across the whole visible surface. A resin replacement offers a finer and cleaner shape that, once glued on, only has to be sanded and painted.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water so that no mold release agent from the mold is left on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and finish the surface by sanding wet, ideally with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Dry-fit them before you reach for the glue — with replacement parts it pays to fine-tune the diameter of the seat. For painting, a dark metallic base works well, picked out once dry with pigments or a wash around the outlet; apply the soot deposit sparingly and always in the direction of the flow.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
