About product

Omask P-40E (1:48)

A set of Omask painting masks for P-40E fighter models in 1:48 scale. The masks are precisely cut and follow the shape of the glazing frames exactly, so you get sharp transitions between the clear areas and the painted frame with no laborious taping. It is not a kit or a set of parts, but a painting aid. The set is intended for the Revell kit.

Use

  • Lift the individual masks off the carrier film and seat them exactly on the cockpit frames.
  • Press the edges down carefully so that paint cannot creep under the mask.
  • Spray the frame shade, let it dry and peel the masks off carefully.
  • Depending on the set, other small areas or the wheels can be masked as well.

Who it is for

  • Modelers who want clean, sharp cockpit frames with no taping by hand.
  • Builders of aircraft in 1:48 scale.

The masks are a painting aid; paints are not included.
