The set brings precisely cast resin landing gear wheels for models of the American Bell P-63 Kingcobra fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the kit with a substitute with a crisp tire tread and fine hub detail. Paints, glue and the model of the aircraft are not included.
The Bell P-63 Kingcobra was an American fighter of the Second World War, developed from the P-39 Airacobra with the engine behind the pilot and a nosewheel landing gear. Most of the aircraft built served with the Soviet Air Force. The nosewheel layout makes the wheels a conspicuous detail, which a resin replacement brings out.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting block off carefully and sand the mating surface with respiratory protection. Glue the wheels with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires in a flat rubber black and the hubs in the shade of the scheme in question; the transition can be masked off cleanly.
