A set of diorama accessories in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Firma49, containing plastic barrels and crutches. The parts are made by high-resolution 3D printing (SLA) in resin. These are add-on props, not a standalone model.
Barrels are among the most versatile elements of a diorama, whether as a store for liquids, improvised furniture or simply as a way of filling space. Crutches add a human story to a scene and suit civilian and military scenes alike.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and let them dry. Remove the print supports carefully and clean the faces up with respiratory protection. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. The barrels come into their own once the base is on, with chipping, stains and a light patina, and the crutches with a filter in a wood and metal shade.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
