Rafael Python 5 1:48 (Reskit) is a resin set of four Israeli short-range air-to-air missiles for models of combat aircraft in 1:48 scale. An armament accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is an accessory, not a standalone model. It contains four resin Rafael Python 5 missiles in 1:48 scale for arming models of combat aircraft. The crisply cast parts offer more faithful shapes and detail than the weapons from the box.
The Python 5 is an Israeli short-range guided air-to-air missile with imaging infrared guidance and the ability to attack targets off the boresight. It is carried by a number of modern fighters, so the set suits builds of contemporary combat aircraft.
Wash the resin missiles to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; protect the fragile fins and sensors while handling them.
The set is an accessory and is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
