Camouflage masking set 1:48 - Spitfire Mk.II, the aircraft of F. Fajtl (Omask)

A set of self-adhesive masks from Omask intended for spraying the camouflage pattern on a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.II fighter in 1:48 scale, for the particular aircraft linked with the pilot Frantisek Fajtl. It is NOT a model or a paint but a masking aid that defines the transitions between the camouflage colors accurately. The masks are cut from masking film.

The pilot and the aircraft

Frantisek Fajtl was a Czechoslovak RAF fighter pilot of the Second World War and the first Czechoslovak commander of a British squadron. The Spitfire Mk.II was an early reworked Spitfire with the more powerful Merlin XII engine, in service from 1940.

Use

• The masks define the individual fields of the upper-surface camouflage according to the given scheme
• Apply them to the model according to the diagram, press the edges down and spray in thin coats
• Spray the exposed areas one by one and remove the mask while the finish is still fresh

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to spray the divided camouflage of the Spitfire Mk.II in 1:48 scale accurately and quickly without lengthy masking with tape.

This is a masking accessory. The model and paints are not included in the package.
