This is a standalone sheet of waterslide decals (not a kit) from the manufacturer Eduard. It holds the national insignia and markings for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V fighter in 1:48 scale. Precisely printed roundels and supplementary markings let you finish the surface of the model faithfully.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was one of the most widespread versions of this legendary British fighter of the Second World War. It served with a number of Allied squadrons on many fronts and carried roundels and markings in various period forms.
The decals are applied in the classic way: cut the element out, dip it in water, slide it onto the varnished surface once it has softened and set it in position. For a perfect fit to the wing and the fuselage we recommend a decal softener and, at the end, evening the surface out with a clear coat.
The accessory holds no model and no paints; it serves to finish a separately bought kit.
