A color three-dimensional instrument panel and additional cockpit panels made for the plastic kit of the Soviet carrier-based Yak-38 Forger A from Hobby Boss in 1:48 scale. This is not an aircraft kit but a detail upgrade of the interior: the parts are printed in relief and finished in color, including an imitation of the glossy instrument glass.

What the set offers

The Forger instrument panel stands out with readable dials and colored details that come finished from the factory. The self-adhesive form makes fitting much simpler than a classic photo-etched part or wet decals and brings a depth that a flat decal cannot offer.

Use

• peel the part carefully off the backing film
• seat it in its place in the cockpit of the model
• bring the relief out with shading or with gloss varnish on the instrument glass

For modelers who want to lift the cockpit of their Yak-38 in 1:48 scale quickly and without painting. Suitable for less experienced builders too, since painting the instruments is not needed.
