A plastic kit of the giant flying machine Gigant from the classic Japanese anime Future Boy Conan, in 1:700 scale from the Japanese maker Aoshima. Gigant is one of the most striking settings of the series - a massive flying fortress with a wingspan of around 250 mm in this scale. The kit offers a detailed surface, optionally extended landing gear and a stand for display in flight; the smaller flying boat Falco is usually enclosed as well. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Future Boy Conan is an animated series of 1978, on the direction of which Hayao Miyazaki worked. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world, and Gigant in it represents a giant military flying machine. Thanks to its unusual design and its role in the story it became an icon and a favorite subject for collectors and fans of classic anime.
Clean up and sand the large surfaces of the hull and wings carefully, so that the smooth surface stands out. Apply the paint with an airbrush for an even coat and bring out the panel lines with a liquid paneliner. The stand makes it possible to display the model in flight; the smaller Falco will complete the scene. Glue the clear and small parts with precisely measured glue, so that no fingerprints are left.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
